Terms of Service

These terms are between you and Motorloop, the business that runs motorloop.io and the Motorloop software (the “Service”): a website for your dealership, an inventory with AI tools, a lead inbox and a back office. “You” means the dealership that uses Motorloop, and the person who signs up on its behalf.

Buyers who browse a dealership’s Motorloop website deal with the dealership. These terms do not apply to them; the dealership’s own legal pages do.

Motorloop is for business use. To sign up you must be at least 18 and able to bind the dealership. Give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

You are responsible for your sign-in details and for everything your team does in your account, so keep passwords private and remove people who leave. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorized access.

We are onboarding dealerships in waves. We may delay or decline a request for access.

Every new dealership starts with a 14-day trial with all Pro features unlocked. The trial needs no credit card, and nothing is charged during it. If you have not subscribed when it ends, your account is paused: your website shows a notice, its forms and chat stop taking messages, and your back office is limited to billing until you choose a plan. Pausing does not delete your data.

When you subscribe, billing starts straight away, and any days left in your trial do not carry over.

The plans are Starter ($49 a month) and Pro ($149 a month). Prices are in US dollars, per dealership, billed monthly in advance, and exclude VAT and similar taxes where they apply. Each plan has limits on cars, AI requests, team members and, on Pro, campaign emails, as shown on the pricing page. If you reach a limit, you can upgrade or wait for it to reset.

Payments are handled by our payment provider, Stripe. When you choose a plan, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel. Fees are not refundable, except where the law requires. We may change prices or plans; a change applies from your next billing period and we will tell you at least 30 days before it does.

You own what you put into Motorloop: listings, photos, text, settings, and your leads and clients. You give us a limited license to host, process, display, translate and format it, only as needed to run the Service for you.

You promise that you have the right to use everything you upload, including photos and text, and that your listings are truthful and lawful, including the prices, mileage, history and condition you state.

Motorloop uses AI to draft specifications, descriptions and website text, to translate them, and to answer buyers’ questions in a chat on your website. AI output can be wrong or incomplete, and a plate or registry lookup can return outdated data.

Specifications, descriptions and website text stay drafts until you review them and press Publish. You are responsible for what you publish, so check specs, prices and claims before they go live.

The chat assistant is different: it answers buyers directly, in real time, from your live inventory, and you do not review its answers beforehand. It speaks for your dealership, so you are responsible for what it tells buyers. Keep your listings, prices and availability up to date, and check the inquiries it passes on.

You decide why and how the data buyers give your dealership is used, and we process it on your behalf, as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having a lawful basis and giving the notices that the law requires. If you need a data processing agreement, write to w@startbase.ai.

Send marketing messages only to people who have agreed to receive them, and honor unsubscribes. Under Israeli law, including the rules on unsolicited advertising by email, SMS and similar channels, you need consent first. Motorloop’s campaign tool sends only to clients marked as opted in, and every email carries an unsubscribe link, but the responsibility for the content and the audience is yours.

You agree not to:

• publish false, misleading or unlawful listings, or content that infringes someone else’s rights;
• send spam, or use the Service to harass, defraud or mislead people;
• reverse engineer the Service, scrape it, or probe it for weaknesses without our written permission;
• get around plan limits, rate limits or security features;
• upload malware, or interfere with the Service or other customers;
• resell or sublicense the Service without a written agreement.

If you find a security problem, please tell us at w@startbase.ai before you tell anyone else.

Connecting your own domain is part of Pro. You must own or control the domain and set up its DNS records as we instruct. Motorloop does not sell or register domains; use a registrar you choose. We may disconnect a domain you do not control.

Parts of the Service work with other companies’ products, such as Stripe, WhatsApp links, Google (maps and reviews), YouTube and Vimeo videos, Meta and Google ad feeds, listing sites and SMS and email providers. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we are not responsible for how they behave or for whether they are available.

We work to keep the Service reliable, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and there is no uptime guarantee. We schedule maintenance in advance where we can.

Support is by email at w@startbase.ai. We aim to reply within one business day. Motorloop is still growing, so features and limits will change; if we remove something you rely on, we will tell you beforehand.

You can stop using Motorloop at any time. The account owner can cancel the plan from the billing page, or you can ask us to close your account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, after which the account is paused and its data is kept, so you can come back. The Privacy Policy says how long. Export your leads and clients as CSV before you go.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, do not pay, or put the Service or other people at risk, and we will give you notice where we can. A failed payment pauses the account until it is resolved.

If you ask us to close your account and delete your data, we delete it from our active systems within a reasonable time (we aim for 30 days), unless the law requires us to keep something.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranties, including that it will meet your needs or that AI output or vehicle data is accurate.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost sales or lost data. Our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You will cover claims by third parties that arise from your content, your listings or your messages to buyers, other than claims caused by our own breach.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have that cannot be waived. [To complete: confirm the governing law and court with a lawyer]

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will tell account holders by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you keep using Motorloop after that date, you accept the new terms.

These terms, the Privacy Policy and the plan limits on the pricing page are the whole agreement between us about the Service. If a part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. The terms are written in English, and if we provide a translation, the English version prevails.
