Your Google profile is a second homepage

For many buyers the map box is the first stop, before your website. Four fields and a two-minute Monday routine.

Search your own dealership's name right now. The big box on the right of the results, with the map, the stars, and the photos somebody's uncle uploaded in 2019, often does more work than your homepage. It deserves the same weekly attention as your front line.

The four fields that move the needle

  1. The website link. Point it at your own storefront, not a portal profile. This is the single most valuable click in local search and too many dealers hand it to a marketplace.
  2. Reviews, answered. Reply to every review inside a week, the ugly ones first. Buyers read the replies more carefully than the reviews; they are auditioning how you will treat them after the sale.
  3. Photos you chose. Upload the lot, the showroom, the handover moments. Fresh photos push the accidental 2019-uncle shots down the gallery.
  4. Hours that are true. Nothing burns trust like a locked gate at 16:40 under a profile that says open until 17:00.

Link deeper than the homepage

The profile allows extra links. Use them like shelf space: your current-stock search page, your trade-in page, your financing page. On a Motorloop storefront every filtered search is a stable URL, so "SUVs under 150k" can literally be a button on your Google profile. That is a buyer landing pre-filtered, three seconds after searching your name.

The Monday two-minute routine

Answer new reviews, add one photo, check that the inventory link still matches what is actually in stock. Two minutes. The profile is a storefront window on the busiest street in town; wipe the glass weekly.
